Being a photographer is not something I grew up believing was an option for me, so to be here, for this to be my job... you guys it's literally a dream come true! Six years in and I am still so dang honored each and every time a couple even considers me for their wedding or when a family invites me back to capture a new season of their life.
I love taking pictures. It's something I have always done and will always do... but to get to do it for you guys.... man that's the magic. What we do here isn't transactional, it's relational. I don't want to show up on your wedding day and not already be friends. I don't want your kids to be uncomfortable around some random new photographer. I want to blend in and celebrate you with your wedding party. I want your kids to tell me about their new imaginary friend or the competition they just won at school.
I want to know your fears and stressors - as a fiancé, as a wife, as a mom... just as a human on this plant. Wedding day chaos - I promise I've seen it. Kids won't cooperate - cool I don't need them to. With years of experience and hundreds of five star Google reviews putting the proof in the pudding (is that the saying?) there is literally nothing you could throw at me to catch me off guard. No matter the situation I've got your back and will always be a friend in your corner!
My approach
My approach is all about keeping this easy, natural and fun! I focus on playful prompts instead of stiff poses creating real moments, reactions and emotion with lots of movement so you can just be yourself! Whether it's a quiet moment or a burst of laughter I'm there to capture the in-between... the way you look at each other, the way your kiddos hand fits in yours, allll the little things we never want to forget.
My goal is to create an environment where you can relax, be present, and walk away with images that truly reflect your beautiful life.
